Indication:

1. widely used in treating diabetes.
2. also beneficial as anti-allergic in case of skin and respiratory disorders.
3. also traditionally,  Medohara(obesity), rasayana(rejuvinator), chakshushya(improves the vision).

Effect on tridhosa: pitta kapha hara.
Dosage:
1/2-1tsf once or twice daily with milk or warm water.or as directed by the physician.
also available in tablet form, the dose is 1-2tab, again as directed by the physician.
